Job summary

Singtel KL (Sudong MY Sdn Bhd) invites you to join its Kuala Lumpur Shared Services Centre as a Financial Applications Specialist. You will support, maintain and enhance finance systems and reporting solutions, helping Finance users solve data issues and translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.

You will build Excel-based and Power BI reporting, develop data models with SQL, and contribute to automation initiatives using Power Automate and Python.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance systems, reporting, data analytics or a related area.
• Strong SQL and database skills, with the ability to develop reliable, scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, dynamic arrays and data modelling.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and logical problem-solving capability across systems and data.
• Ability to learn and apply new applications and technologies and build capability in automation, AI tools and the Microsoft ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to Finance users across reporting tools, data models and business systems.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting templates.
• Use SQL and relevant data platforms to develop reliable reporting and data solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and single-source-of-truth reporting.
• Identify root causes of recurring system, data and process issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
