Job summary

Singtel KL is seeking a Financial Applications Specialist to support, maintain and improve finance systems and reporting solutions across the Shared Services Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

You will work with finance users, troubleshoot issues during month-end, build Excel and Power BI reports, and partner with IT on automation and data quality. The role requires strong Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, SQL or Python skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance systems, business systems, reporting or data analytics.
• Advanced Excel with Power Query/Power Pivot, dynamic formulas and data modelling.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving across systems and data.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to finance users across tools and data.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize disruption during month-end.
• Build and maintain Excel-based reports and Power BI dashboards.
• Support automation initiatives using Power Automate and related tech.
• Document processes and deliver user training materials.
