Job summary

Sunway Education Group is seeking a Senior Executive for a 6-month contract to lead the preparation of financial statements and related reporting. Responsibilities include timely management reporting, budgets, forecasts, and analyses, with liaison to auditors and regulators.

The candidate will possess a diploma or higher in Finance/Accounting, 2–3 years of experience, and strong IT and communication skills, capable of independent and collaborative work within a team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant working experience with strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
• Proficient in computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and related reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of business plans, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Support the preparation of ad hoc management reports and financial analyses.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with audit, tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
