Job summary

SF TECHLOGIS SDN BHD is seeking a Finance Contract professional to join our finance team in Senai, Johor, on a contract basis (6 months or 1 year). The role focuses on financial accounting and reporting, with responsibilities spanning journals, reconciliations, and monthly/annual statements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 2+ years in a similar role, and possesses strong Excel skills and knowledge of Malaysian accounting regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years in financial accounting and reporting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel with data analysis.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Well-organised with good time management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting regulations and tax is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, ledgers and reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements preparation.
• Review transactions for accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Conduct account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Maintain organised financial documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
• Provide reports and analysis for management review.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as required.
