Job summary

Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Finance Executive/Assistant Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, project accounting and group cash flows in Selangor. The role covers GL, audits, tax submissions, and internal controls to support business planning and management reporting.

You will prepare consolidated cash flows, manage accounts payable/receivable, and supervise project accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance across SunCon's construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Professional certification such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage general ledger and trial balance.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare for statutory audits and tax submissions.
• Ensure financial compliance and internal control.
• Compile cash flow requirements for the group and subsidiaries.
• Prepare consolidated cash flow statements for the Group.
• Maintain and update financial data and projections for planning and reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare schedules for audits.
• Project accounting: budgets, costs, progress billings, cash flow, and variances.
• Supervise project accounting staff.
