Job summary

Qualifications

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese to liaise with China counterparts.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Finance officer (Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred as the role requires frequent liaison with the China team) to join our dynamic team at Genitronic (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the company’s financial operations and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making. This is a full-time position based in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Job Description

• Prepare monthly financial reports, as well as oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support management decision-making
• Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, ensuring compliance with e-invoicing requirements
• Review product costing and monitor project profitability, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
• Monitor and manage daily cash flow, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
• Conduct cost analysis and review monthly operational expenses, ensuring standard costing is consistently applied and maintained
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, internal policies, and statutory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous process improvements
• Lead, manage, and mentor the finance team to foster a high-performance work environment
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management from time to time

Requirements
