About the role
As an HR Officer at GENITRONIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s human capital strategy. Based in Sungai Petani, Kedah, this full-time position involves leading the HR function and contributing to the achievement of overall business objectives. We are seeking an HR Manager, and Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred as the role requires frequent communication and collaboration with the China team.

Recruitment Management

Manage end-to-end recruitment for technicians, engineers, office staff, and other positions.

Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation confirmation, promotions, disciplinary actions, and resignations.

Compliance Management

Ensure compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, and confidential information management.

Liaise with government authorities and handle official matters when required.

Process work permits and visas, including PVP, EP, and other employment passes.

Administrative Management

Oversee daily administrative operations, including business travel arrangements, office supplies, company vehicles, and company events/holiday activities.

Training & Development

Lead overall employee training and development initiatives, including new employee orientation and professional skills training.

Establish, improve, and maintain the company’s training system and programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

3-5 years of HR and recruitment experience in a manufacturing environment.

Familiar with employment compliance management and experienced in dealing with government authorities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and learn quickly.

Proficient in both Chinese and English (written and spoken).

Willing to be based in Sungai Petani.
