Job summary

Genitronic (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Sungai Petani, Kedah, is seeking a Senior Finance Officer to oversee financial operations and provide strategic insights to support growth and decision-making. This full-time role is based in Sungai Petani.

You will manage monthly reports, budgeting, AR/AP, costing, cash flow, and regulatory compliance while mentoring the finance team and collaborating across functions to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial management and regulatory requirements.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese to liaise with China counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and oversee budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights for management decisions.
• Oversee AR/AP functions and ensure compliance with e-invoicing requirements.
• Review product costing and monitor project profitability for cost savings.
• Ensure timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Monitor cash flow, cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Conduct cost analysis and review monthly operating expenses with standard costing.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
• Lead, manage and mentor the finance team; perform ad-hoc tasks as needed.
