Job summary

Rentokil Initial (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated Senior Finance Executive (GL & Reporting) to join our team in Shah Alam. You will report to the Finance Reporting Manager and handle month-end close, journal entries, and ERP reconciliations.

The role emphasizes IFRS compliance, budgeting and forecasting in a large, devolved organisation. Mandarin language skills are an added advantage, and ACCA/MICPA/ASCPA or equivalent qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (preferably 2 years in audit).
• Mandarin speaking ability is an added advantage.
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/MICPA/ASCPA) or equivalent.
• Strong IFRS accounting knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries based on supporting documents and assess accruals.
• Prepare and review month-end close schedules and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure all reconciliations and entries are supported and IFRS compliant.
• Manage fixed assets and inventory movements and related reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing activities and respond to queries.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and statutory filings to IFRS.
