Job summary

Rentokil Initial (M) Sdn Bhd in Subang seeks a Senior Finance Executive (GL & Reporting) to join the Finance team. You will prepare journal entries, review month-end close schedules, and ensure IFRS compliance while supporting audits and reporting processes.

You will assist in budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of monthly management accounts, with exposure to a large multinational environment and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience (audit preferred).
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/MICPA/ASCPA) or equivalent.
• Strong IFRS accounting knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and assess accruals based on local documents.
• Close month-end with balance sheet reconciliations and reporting schedules.
• Ensure reconciliations and entries are supported and IFRS-compliant.
• Capture fixed assets and inventory movements; monthly reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing activities and queries from the finance team.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
