Job summary

Rentokil Initial (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Subang is seeking a Finance Manager for GL & Reporting (Shared Service Center) to lead month-end close, prepare monthly management accounts, and coordinate audits to meet strict timelines.

The ideal candidate will have strong IFRS knowledge, practical budgeting and forecasting experience in a large, devolved MNC, and proven leadership. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, with excellent IT and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience (preferably minimum 3 years in audit).
• Strong IFRS accounting knowledge and experience.
• Practical experience in budgeting, accounting and forecasting in a large, devolved organisation, preferably within the MNC environment.
• Experience in the financial management of programs and projects.
• Strong leadership qualities, result oriented, dynamic, self-driven and motivated to work with and through people of various levels.
• Excellent spoken and written English & Mandarin.
• Good IT knowledge with advance Excel skills will be an added advantage.
• Team player, proactive, good attitude, able to work independently and efficiently, meticulous, analytical and able to work under tight deadline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor month end closing activities and period closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, half year and year end form packs according to timetables.
• Project manage audits/reporting requirements to ensure timely compliance.
• Coordinate forecasts to facilitate decision making and document changes.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and safeguard assets.
• Ensure IFRS-compliant financial information and tax obligations.
• Review and approve manual journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Prepare annual financial statements and tax calculations.
