Job summary

You will oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls while mentoring junior staff to foster development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
• At least 2 years experience with Account Consolidation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Tally, or others) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts and reconciliation of financial discrepancies.
• Monitor and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff and contribute to their development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
