Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Sr Commercial Finance Accountant (Data Science & Analytics) to drive data-driven decision making by building Power BI dashboards, automating finance processes, and delivering actionable insights into cost, profitability, and cash flow.

You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and business units to implement finance transformation initiatives, develop data models, and provide scalable reporting frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, FP&A, or BI/Data Analytics.
• Strong Power BI and data visualization skills for financial/operational reporting.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel VBA for workflow automation.
• Proficient with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling ability.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and BI solutions.
• Develop automation solutions using Power Query, Power Apps, Power Automate, VBA.
• Lead finance transformation projects involving automation and digital tools.
• Extract, validate, transform, and analyze large datasets from ERP systems.
• Collaborate to improve reporting, data governance, and system functionality.
• Translate business needs into scalable reporting frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and data quality through automation.
• Develop data models, KPIs, and analytical tools for profitability and cash flow.
• Support Commercial/Costing for product costing and margin analysis.
• Monitor cost variances and manufacturing cost drivers.
