Job summary

Hyppies Pte. Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Finance x Risk x Strategy leader to helm group-wide financial control and governance in a highly regulated environment. You will partner with senior leadership to navigate complexity and safeguard financial resilience.

In this senior role, you will drive consolidated reporting, strengthen controls, oversee tax strategy and compliance, and lead treasury decisions that support strategic outcomes across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (CPA, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent).
• Strong background in Big 4 audit, technical accounting or financial reporting.
• Experience across banking, financial services or other regulated environments.
• Exposure to enterprise risk management, financial risk or group-wide risk oversight.
• Regional or international experience with multiple entities and frameworks.
• Familiarity with corporate finance, investments, treasury, liquidity or capital management.

Responsibilities

• Own the numbers: lead group financial reporting, consolidation and balance sheet integrity.
• Strengthen financial risk oversight, internal controls and governance.
• Lead tax strategy and compliance, engaging with auditors and regulators.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow and capital stewardship to support strategy.
• Partner with CFO and Board on complex financial judgments and risks.
• Build and develop high-performing teams across accounting, tax and treasury.
