Job summary

Acme Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled accounting professional to oversee month-end close, generate timely financial reports for the Finance Director, and manage the Fixed Asset Register. The role covers monthly management accounts, cash flow and annual financial statements with strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month end close process and ensuring financial reports are accurately and timely delivered for review by Finance Director
• In charge of management of Fixed Asset Register
• Preparation of Management Accounts (monthly), cashflow and Financial Statements annually latest by 13th of the following month
• Posting Journal into SQL for accounting matters
• Statutory reporting – work with external parties and regulatory bodies i.e., external auditors to ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with the respective standards and regulations
• Assist audit and tax related matters
• Assist in maintaining and safekeeping of all finance documentation and to issue orders necessary to keep documents up to date to Finance Department members and HODs
• Preparation of Cash Flow - Direct Method
• Prepare Project Equipment BQ, ID and initial valuation record and prepare equipment stock take on quarterly / post rental contract
• Provide support to Finance Ops functions and Management on ad-hoc basis
