Job summary

Seri Media Outdoor Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join its finance team in Johor Bahru. The role covers full-set accounting, AP/AR, GL, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate holds a professional accounting qualification with at least 5 years of experience, is proficient in Excel and accounting software, and can communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. A stable, collaborative environment awaits with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Good communication and writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and under pressure.
• Familiarity with local financial regulations and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-set of accounts using accounting software and tools.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Perform financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing financial transactions.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Oversee Company Secretarial matters and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare management reports and ad-hoc financial analyses as assigned by management.
