Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee accounting across multiple markets. You will guide a team, ensure timely closings and accurate reporting, and apply revenue recognition under US GAAP ASC 606 across customer arrangements.

Collaborating with Legal, Commercial and Finance, you will strengthen internal controls, drive process improvements, and coordinate audits while supporting regional operations and cross-time-zone stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Substantial experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in revenue-related accounting activities.
• Previous experience in a senior, supervisory or team leadership capacity, with the ability to guide and develop team members.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606, with practical experience applying revenue recognition principles to customer arrangements.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting, month-end and quarter-end closing processes, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP and financial management systems.
• Experience working in a multinational organisation, preferably within technology, SaaS or a shared-services environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across regional and global teams.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, manage competing priorities and take ownership of deliverables.
• Additional language proficiency would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
