Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru seeks an experienced accountant to handle the full set of accounts, monthly closing, bank, AR and AP reconciliations, and cost control.

Based in JB, travel to Singapore for initial training; manufacturing accounting experience is a plus; Diploma/degree in Accountancy required, minimum 5 years' relevant experience, ERP systems preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in full set of accounts.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is preferred.
• Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task, work independently and take initiative.
• Manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.
• Responsible, organized and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including monthly closing and preparation of monthly schedules.
• Perform bank, AR and AP reconciliations.
• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including expenses and payment processing, ensuring all payments are properly authorized and recorded.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) functions and ensure all receipts are accurately recorded.
• Perform credit control by reviewing the AR ageing report and following up on outstanding and overdue accounts.
• Monitor and analyze costs and expenses to support effective cost control.
• Conduct inventory stock takes and reconcile inventory records with warehouse stock.
• Support accounting and finance-related matters and provide relevant analysis when required.

Work Arrangement
