Job summary

KEBACO SDN BHD is seeking an experienced professional to support Estate Management in Sabah. The role involves assisting in day-to-day field operations, maintenance, and harvest logistics, with a focus on improving processes for higher quality fresh fruit bunches.

Job description

What you'll be doing

• Assists the Estate Management team in managing the day-to-day field operations, maintenance and upkeep of the overall estate, harvesting and transportation of fresh fruit bunches and infrastructure maintenance and development.
• Aids in the planning and implementation of new ideas/ improvements to the overall estate management process and to maximize the production quality of fresh fruit bunches per best agricultural practices and the Company’s strategic direction.
• Proactive in identifying and rectifying any issues that may arise.
• Plans and implements efficient work schedules to achieve goals and targets set by Headquarters, able to adapt plans due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Regular communication and support of Estate Management team.
• Liaise with Estate Manager, Estate Assistant Manager, supporting staff and workers.
• On-the-job practical training provided by Estate Management team.
• Ensure that all activities around the estate are being conducted accordingly to the company's policies, expectations and procedures in accordance with good agriculture practice.

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary , STPM , "A" Level , Pre U , Diploma , Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Agriculture/Aquaculture/Forestry or equivalent (advantage but not necessary)
• At least 5 to 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Candidates who are interested in the agriculture field including cultivation and machinery are also welcome to apply.
• Strong leadership qualities, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, driven, detailed-oriented and independent individual.
• Preferred languages: Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa English
• Computer literate.
• Preferably Senior Executive specializing in Oil Palm Plantations or equivalent.
• Applicants must be willing to work Estate in Sabah.
