Job summary

Panasonic Industrial Device Sales (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer (CCL) to support PCB customers across Malaysia, Singapore and ASEAN. The role demands a strong background in PCB R&D, HDI processes, and CCL materials, with fluency in Mandarin and English to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

The candidate should have 5+ years in PCB or 4+ years in related technical roles, and will lead NPI activities, support material qualification, and collaborate with R&D,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Materials Science, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in PCB R&D / Lamination / Process Engineering / NPI at a major PCB manufacturer; OR 4+ years in Technical Support / FAE / Application Engineering at a major CCL manufacturer.
• Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing and HDI process flow.
• Strong knowledge of CCL material properties and applications.
• Experience in NPI is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support major PCB customers on CCL material selection, application and technical issues.
• Drive new material introduction, customer qualification and certification.
• Lead technical activities for NPI / new projects and support conversion into sales.
• Conduct PCB defect analysis, troubleshooting and root-cause investigation.
• Work closely with customer R&D, Process, Quality and Engineering teams.
• Coordinate with internal R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and Sales teams to resolve customer issues.
• Monitor PCB/HDI technology and CCL material trends and identify new opportunities.
• Provide technical support to customers across Malaysia, Singapore and ASEAN.
