Job summary

Gultech (Malaysia)Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled engineer responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting PCB manufacturing equipment. The role demands deep understanding of production processes and ability to diagnose and resolve equipment failures independently.

The candidate should be proficient with PLC hardware and software, plus be capable of designing and installing electrical wiring and upgrading equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in equipment maintenance in PCB/electronics.
• Proficient in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Understand PCB manufacturing processes and troubleshoot equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform repair and maintenance on equipment.
• Design and install electrical wiring and execute equipment upgrades.
• Support stakeholders and ensure smooth daily operations with Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job description

Possess a strong understanding of the complete PCB manufacturing process and related production equipment, with the ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment failures.

Be proficient in PLC hardware and software, with the ability to diagnose faults and perform repair and maintenance work.

Possess sound knowledge of equipment control circuits, including the ability to design and install electrical wiring, as well as execute equipment modification and upgrading projects.

This role requires candidates who are proficient in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia to support effective communication with relevant stakeholders and ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and maintenance management, preferably in the PCB manufacturing or electronics manufacturing industry.
