Job summary

JLL in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee banking facilities in Petaling Jaya. This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective management across multiple sites to support business operations.

You will lead hard and soft services, manage vendor contracts, and drive safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, Property Management, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of facilities management experience, including 3+ years managing portfolios over 150,000 sq ft.
• Experience in banking/financial services or similarly regulated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of banking facilities in Petaling Jaya, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
• Manage hard and soft services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleaning, security, landscaping and waste management.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and respond to reactive issues to minimize disruption.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs and ensure vendors deliver quality services on time and within budget.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with BOMBA, DOSH, local authorities and Bank Negara guidelines.
