JLL in Malaysia seeks an experienced Building Manager to oversee banking facilities in Petaling Jaya, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective management across a sizeable portfolio.

The role leads facility operations, manages multiple vendors, addresses safety and ESG, and steers space planning, budgets, and projects through a professional team across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of facilities management experience with 3+ years on portfolios over 150,000 sq ft.
• Proven multi-site operations management across geographies.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian building regulations and safety standards.
• Experience in banking or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all banking facilities in Petaling Jaya.
• Manage hard and soft services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleaning, security, and waste.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and rapid-response repairs.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor SLAs with vendors.
• Develop and manage facility budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead space planning, refurbishments, and capital projects.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and ESG programs.
• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed facilities team.
