Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Deputy Manager for Asset Management Services in Malaysia. The role involves directing teams, planning facilities projects, evaluating bids, approving essential documents, and ensuring regulatory compliance across operations.

You will coordinate with agencies and suppliers, develop safety plans, and monitor performance to drive quality and improvements. The position reports to management and requires handling urgent issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Directs subordinates in determining workload, delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
• Develops, evaluates, and reviews plans and criteria for various projects and activities, and participates in the planning, coordination, and maintenance of facilities.
• Oversees quotes and bids for maintenance work on facilities, evaluates proposals for specification compliance, and makes recommendations for awards.
• Approves, signs, and implements applicable documents, actions, processes, and programs.
• Reviews and inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness to ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Coordinates and acts as a liaison between the agency or work unit and other agencies, work units, organizations, and suppliers.
• Develops appropriate safety and/or service plans to mitigate risks and ensure protection.
• Monitors and evaluates operations, programs, processes, and practices for quality and effectiveness, and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Ensures that responses to emergencies or urgent issues are promptly addressed as they arise.
• The Deputy Manager is expected to diligently comply with any additional tasks assigned by the management.
