Job summary

SMBC SSC Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Finance officer to manage expenditure payments, accounts payable, and billing processes. The role ensures all invoices and staff claims are properly authorized and recorded, and that payments are made timely while monitoring budget compliance.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, SWIFT/GIRO processing, asset records, and daily budget oversight. Strong ERP knowledge and a background in banking or shared services are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualifications in Accounting/Administration/Banking.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in expense management or similar accounts payable function.
• Preferably in banking industry or Shared Service Center with good understanding of backend/front-end ERP accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Authorize and approve all payment requests (invoices and staff reimbursements).
• Check invoices/expenses/claims in the system.
• Input correct PL/NA/account code and narration.
