Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Expeditor with 6 to 10 years of SCM expediting experience in the oil and gas sector, preferably with EPC/EPCIC projects. The role focuses on expediting vendor manufacturing, coordinating with engineering and QA/QC, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials and compliance with ITP requirements.

The successful candidate will lead meetings, coordinate shipments, and liaise with vendors and finance to resolve payment issues impacting delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree of any discipline preferences in Engineering or its equivalent.
• SCM Expediting experience in oil and gas industry, preferably involved in EPC/EPCIC, EPCM projects

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead kick-off and pre-production/pre-inspection meetings to align all parties on scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Coordinate with Engineering to secure timely approval of drawings, calculations, and datasheets per vendor project schedules.
• Work with QA/QC and Testing & Commissioning to ensure vendor compliance with procedures and approved ITP requirements.
• Arrange third-party/internal inspections (witness/hold points) and field expediting services as required; review expediting/inspection reports and drive follow-up actions.
• Coordinate shipment and logistics to ensure on-time arrival of materials, and support resolution of technical issues with the Package Engineer.
• Ensure timely submission of final VDR and completion/rectification of deficiencies, discrepancies, and carry-over punch lists.
• Liaise with vendors and Finance to resolve payment-related issues that may impact delivery performance.
