Job summary

A leading financial institution in Malaysia seeks a Senior Executive for Real Estate Management and Transactions. This role involves supporting real estate activities, managing rental income, inventory of documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in real estate or accounting, and experience in the banking sector is preferred. This position is essential to maintain property value and achieve cost efficiency for the bank.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate or accounting.
  • Experience in managing tenancies for multiple sites is preferred.
  • Familiarity with banking industry is a plus.

Senior Executive, Real Estate Management and Transactions

To support the real estate activities and transactions for all Bank’s premises nationwide including offsite SSTs with the objective of upholding the property value, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the Company in achieving the targeted growth objectives and cost efficiency competitiveness

Job Description

Support and manage the rental income receivable by the Bank including issuance of monthly tax invoice, deposits, monthly reconciliation and accounting reporting, tax matters in relation to the rental income receive

Manage the real estate expenses for monthly rental, service charge, fire insurance, stamp duty, legal and administrative charges, statutory payments, relevant tax payment etc.

Liaise with landlord for issue relating to landlord’s covenants under the tenancy agreement, including but not limit to the structure / façade repairs and maintenance issue and statutory payment of the premises.

Support and assist with the tenancy process and legal documentation of the premises rented/sub-tenanted to bank’s entities and third parties including monitor the deadline of renewal, updating monthly reporting on the real estate transactions, budget planning, termination services and deposit refund matters

Monitor deadlines and ensure timely lodgment of documents with relevant authorities (e.g., land offices, stamp offices).

Maintain accurate records and file documentation efficiently

Job Requirement

Minimum of 2 years preferably in real estate or account

Related experience and exposure in managing tenancies / real estate services of multiple sites nationwide. Experience in banking industry is preferred.
