Job summary

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead tenant procurement for our flagship retail space. You will prospect, evaluate, and secure retailers, ensuring alignment with the mall's tenant mix and positioning.

You will coordinate with Legal and internal teams to manage documentation, onboarding, fit-out, and handover, while building strong relationships with tenants and delivering market insights on trends and rental benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Property Management, Retail Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in retail leasing, shopping mall management, commercial property or real estate.
• Good understanding of retail leasing, tenancy documentation, tenant mix planning, and mall positioning.
• Good interpersonal, coordination, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Well-organised, meticulous, and able to work independently.
• Able to multitask, prioritise work, and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with leasing or property management systems will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Source and secure prospective tenants through canvassing, cold calling, networking, and market outreach activities.
• Support the full leasing process, including prospecting, enquiries, tenant evaluation, documentation, and lease execution.
• Attend to leasing enquiries and compile relevant information from prospective retailers.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to keep updated on retail trends, rental benchmarks, and market developments.
• Ensure prospective tenants are aligned with the retail plan, tenant mix strategy, and positioning of the shopping mall.
• Maintain proper leasing documentation and ensure all records are complete, accurate, and well organised.
• Liaise with the Legal Department on Tenancy Agreements and other leasing-related documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support tenant onboarding, fit-out, and handover processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants.
