Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking a Senior Executive (Raw Materials) for our packaging manufacturing facility in Selangor. The role focuses on raw material receiving, inventory control, aging management, and line-feeding to maintain uninterrupted production.

You will coordinate with Stock Preparation and Production, manage aging/rotation cycles, perform periodic stock audits, and ensure FSC chain-of-custody compliance while guiding on-site warehouse staff.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in raw materials management, warehouse operations, or manufacturing logistics.
• Prior supervisory experience leading operational floor teams is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of FIFO, stock counts, and inventory control within ERP/WMS environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving, put-away, storage allocation, and material issuing to ensure seamless production line feeding.
• Monitor raw material aging cycles and FIFO rotation to prevent degradation and optimize space.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile ledger-to-stock discrepancies in WMS/ERP.
• Coordinate furnish requirements with Stock Preparation and Production teams for daily operations.
• Ensure incoming materials meet quality standards and FSC compliance; address non-conformances.
• Supervise on-site warehouse personnel, assign shifts, enforce safety, and coach performance.

1. Raw Material Receiving & Inventory Operations

• Operational Supervision: Oversee daily receiving, put-away, storage allocation, and material issuing activities to maintain seamless production line feeding and eliminate material-related downtime.
• Aging & Storage Optimization: Monitor raw material storage conditions, aging cycles, and First-In, First-Out (FIFO) material rotation to prevent degradation and optimize warehouse space utilization.
• Stock Accuracy & Verification: Conduct and verify daily, monthly, and periodic physical stock counts; investigate ledger-to-stock discrepancies and execute inventory adjustments in WMS/ERP systems.

• Furnish Alignment: Coordinate directly with Stock Preparation and Production teams on daily furnish requirements, batch schedules, and technical furnish ratio adjustments.
• Quality & FSC Compliance: Ensure incoming materials meet quality standards and specifications; enforce compliance with company operational policies, quality control protocols, and FSC regulatory standards.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve operational bottlenecks or non-conformances related to raw material receiving, handling, and issuance.

• Consumption Planning: Assist in forecasting raw material requirements based on master production schedules, run rates, and inventory safety thresholds.
• Team Supervision: Supervise on-site raw material warehouse personnel, including shift task allocation, manpower planning, safety enforcement, and performance coaching.

Requirements:

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional Tenure: Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in raw materials management, warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing logistics. Prior supervisory experience leading operational floor teams is strongly preferred.

• Inventory & Systems Expertise: Deep understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory rotation (FIFO), and hands‑on proficiency with ERP/WMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with raw material handling, furnish preparation, and quality/regulatory standards (e.g., FSC chain of custody).
• Leadership Capabilities: Proven team leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills to direct floor staff and collaborate cross‑functionally with production.
