Job summary

Sstcm is seeking a Senior Executive, Material & Resources Planner in Malaysia. The role focuses on planning and coordinating material requirements to ensure production continuity and maximize raw material value.

You will develop planning tools, manage material delivery, and monitor inventory levels to support smooth production. Responsibilities include coordinating supplier deliveries, analysing forecasts, maintaining BOM integrity, and ensuring regulatory compliance while minimizing production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/ chemistry/ business management/ supply chain/ Logistic or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in related fields.
• Experience developing and maintaining planning tools.

Senior Executive, Material & Resources Planner

Job Purpose

Plans, coordinate and optimise material requirements to ensure production continuity and maximise raw material value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain updated and accurate planning tools.
• Schedule and control the supply of materials to meet production requirements and minimum stock levels.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit.
• Assist in analysed forecast, past sales data and trends to predict future need. To devise strategic plans to meet the needs, ensuring the company is prepared for both slow and peak periods.
• Assess volume requirement against planning assumptions.
• Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries.
• Understand and manage risk to minimize impact on production schedule.
• Take follow-up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
• Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
• Ensure integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and accuracy at all times.
• Responsible for ensuring all raw material and packing material are well managed and maintained accurately in the system.
• Monitor and control inventory levels against agreed target level.
• Responsible for preparing report/record related to regulatory requirement and authorities.
• Responsible for complying and co-operate with the Company’s HSSE instruction, rules and regulation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ chemistry/ business management/ supply chain/ Logistic or related discipline.
• Candidate with minimum 3 years of working experience in related fields are preferable.
