Job summary

Hextar Retail Berhad in Rawang, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end operations, forecast demand, source materials, and align inventory with production needs. You will manage warehouse activities and ensure smooth shipping both locally and internationally, driving continuous improvement and supplier partnerships.

The role requires ISO 9001:2015 and FSC knowledge, strong leadership, and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field.
• At least 5 years of supply chain management experience.
• Proven skills in warehouse management and stock control.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and FSC standards.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Forecast, source, and manage inventory and production needs to keep operations smooth.
• Oversee warehouse operations and stock control end-to-end.
• Coordinate shipping and warehousing locally and internationally.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Negotiate with suppliers and build strong relationships.
• Continuously review and improve inventory processes.

Job description

Work with internal teams to create forecasts, manage sourcing, and handle inventory and production needs to keep operations smooth.

Manage the entire supply chain, focusing on warehouse operations and stock control.

Handle shipping and warehousing both locally and internationally to meet plant needs.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and FSC standards.

Conduct stock checks and manage inventory levels effectively.

Lead and motivate a strong team to achieve goals.

Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms.

Review and improve inventory processes to enhance planning and production.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management.

Proven skills in warehouse management and stock control.

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and FSC standards.

Strong leadership and team development skills.

Energetic, hardworking, and a team player with great negotiation skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness to travel.

Experience in Timber and Non-Timber industries is a plus but not required.

Ready to work in Rawang.
