Safeguards Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to lead policy implementation and disciplinary processes, ensuring lawful and fair treatment across the organisation. You will advise on the Employee Act, handle investigations and Domestic Inquiries, coordinate with regulators, and deliver weekly and monthly IR reports.
A Bachelor's degree and 3–4 years of IR experience are required.

Manage and coordinate the industrial relation activities and issues. Make arrangement in accordance with identified needs to support the industrial relations plan. Undertake associated industrial relations activities to enhance and make changes to policies or implementation plan.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist the immediate superior to monitor employees and employer adherence to policies and good practises in order to minimise business risk.
Act as advisor in providing the opinion and guidance to the respective Department and Branches on the issues relation to the Employee Act and IR matters.
Constantly monitor and encouraging managers and employees to resolve any disputes between them through negotiation and consultation to maintains harmonious relationship between employer and employees.
Conducts investigation and complaints that may result to major or minor misconducts.
Lead, monitor and liaise and oversee the investigation process done on misconduct committed by employees.
Coordinates and administer all disciplinary procedures where an allegation of misconduct has been reported for example investigation, interviewing witnesses employee, data collection, employment suspension, draft and issues show cause, notification, warning and or charges letter and all documentation for the case.
Fix notice of Domestic Inquiry, place, date, subpoena witness and appoint panel members and chairman of Domestic Inquiry to ensure it is properly conducted based on natural justice.
Conduct Domestic Inquiry and assume the role of a prosecutor in accordance with the legal requirement.
Liaise with internal parties including regulatory and government agencies in relation to Industrial Relation matters.
Act as management representative in conciliation meeting with Industrial Relation Departments on Industrial Relations reinstatement issues under Section 20 of Industrial Relation Act.
Develops and prepare Industrial Relation weekly report and monthly statistical report for management review.
Ad hoc tasks as required by the management.
Formal Education : Possesses Bachelor's Degree of Professional Degree, any field.
Experience: At least 3-4 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.
