Job summary

Padini in Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Relations & Employee Relations Executive to serve as a trusted bridge between staff and management, resolving workplace issues and ensuring compliance with labour laws.

You will advise management on ER policies, handle grievances, and manage disciplinary cases, while developing SOPs and promoting a positive workplace culture. A Diploma or Degree in HR or related field and at least 3 years of ER experience are expected.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
At least 3 years HR experience with Employee & Industrial Relations.
Solid knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
Uphold confidentiality and exercise sound judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

Managing and resolving employee grievances, conflicts, and industrial disputes.
Handling misconduct and disciplinary cases including counselling, warnings, suspensions, and terminations.
Advising management on employee relations policies, best practices, and conflict resolution approaches.
Ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws and industrial regulations (Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, etc.).
Liaising with regulatory authorities, auditors, and government bodies when required.
Representing the company in labour and industrial relations matters.
Developing, reviewing, and implementing HR / ER SOPs and the Employment Manual.
Planning and managing Employee Relations initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

You’ll Succeed in This Role If You

Hold a Diploma or Degree in HR, Business Administration, Law (LLB), or related fields
Have at least 3 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to Employee & Industrial Relations
Possess solid knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements
Uphold confidentiality and exercise sound judgment at all times
