The Senior Executive - Human Resources will be responsible for managing key HR functions, including industrial relations, employee disciplinary matters, grievance handling, employee engagement, and training and development activities across the Matrix company.
Manage employee disciplinary matters, grievances, domestic inquiries, and other industrial relations cases in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Plan, coordinate, and implement employee engagement programmes and initiatives to strengthen employee morale, communication, and workplace culture.
Manage the full spectrum of training and development activities, including conducting training.
Provide guidance and support to employees and Heads of Department on HR policies, disciplinary procedures, and employee-related matters.
Prepare HR reports, analyses, documentation, and recommendations for management review.
Ensure HR practices comply with the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, HRD Corp requirements, and other relevant employment legislation.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments, projects, and analyses as assigned by the HR Manager or Management.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant human resources experience, particularly in industrial relations, employee engagement, and training and development.
Strong understanding of the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, HRD Corp procedures, and other relevant employment laws and regulations.
Hands-on HR experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Able to handle sensitive and confidential employee matters professionally and discreetly.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
