Job summary

Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (CCM) is actively seeking a seasoned Distribution Manager in Pasir Gudang, Johor to lead and optimize its distribution operations. The role covers planning, dispatching, weighbridge, shipping and asset tracking while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.

You will oversee the Distribution team, coordinate with internal departments and transport partners, and drive improvements in processes to meet sales demand and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Logistic, Supply Chain or relevant field.
• 10 years in Transport Operation, Scheduling, Weighbridge and Shipping and field.
• Oversee daily distribution and transport operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
• Plan and coordinate transport scheduling, dispatching, weighbridge and shipping activities.
• Manage transport resources, including tankers, drivers and third-party transporters, to meet business requirements.
• Monitor transport performance, safety, maintenance and compliance with company requirements.
• Lead, supervise and develop the Distribution team to achieve operational targets.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers and transporters to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor distribution costs and identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost efficiency.
• Ensure proper management of shipping documents, billing and asset tracking.
• Support management in implementing process improvements and distribution strategies.

Job Description :

Managing the Distribution Department which includes planning, dispatching, weighbridge, shipping, documents billing, transport safety, transport maintenance and also asset tracking system.

To ensure all the processes in the Distribution Department run smoothly & efficiently.

Managing of distribution staffs and ensure that they are highly motivate in performing the tasks and highly efficient in their work skills.

To ensure that the staff are well trained and be developed for career enhancement.

Managing a pool transporter either contract or adhoc in order to make sure that the resources (tankers and drivers) as per expectation and met the sales demand requirements.

Job Requirements :

Degree in Business Administration, Logistic, Supply Chain or relevant field
