Job summary

Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (CCM) is seeking an experienced sales leader to drive polymer and chemical product business. The role requires 8+ years in industrial products, regional market expertise, and strong leadership to guide a sales team and partnerships with key customers.

You will develop and implement strategic plans, target markets and pricing, and deliver reports on market share and performance while aligning with CCM’s vision and regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Science or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial products related to polymers and chemicals.
• Strong leadership and ability to lead a team.
• Understanding of business functions and market development.
• Regional market experience, especially in China, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam and untapped markets.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement short and long-term sales strategies to drive sales and set annual targets.
• Actively seek new business via campaigns, exhibitions, events, telemarketing, e-commerce, and site visits.
• Generate new business in emerging markets and cultivate long-term customer relationships.
• Evaluate market trends to determine pricing balancing costs, competition and supply/demand.
• Prepare accurate sales reports covering budgets, market share and direct sales performance.
• Ensure processes and communications comply with company vision, policy, and ethics.
• Establish partnerships with key customers internally and externally.
• Lead business improvement initiatives and develop leadership within the team.
