Job summary

Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (CCM) is seeking a Distribution Executive to lead the Distribution Department, plan dispatches, manage weighbridge and shipping, and oversee billing and transport safety. You will coordinate tankers and drivers to meet sales demand, train staff for career advancement, and ensure import/export shipments comply with regulatory requirements across local and overseas routes.

This role requires a degree in business administration or logistics and a track record of

Qualifications

Min Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
10 years in Transport Operation, Scheduling, Weighbridge and Shipping.
Certification – The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Responsibilities

Managing the Distribution Department including planning, dispatching and weighbridge operations.
Oversee shipping, documents billing, transport safety and maintenance and asset tracking system.
Ensure processes in the Distribution Department run smoothly and efficiently.
Manage distribution staff, motivate and develop for career advancement.
Coordinate with contracted or ad hoc transporters to meet sales demand.
Ensure availability of tankers and lorries to deliver.
Ensure that import and export shipments are arranged with liners and forwarders.
Ensure compliance to local and overseas regulatory requirements.
Monitor Road Transport Safety criteria for company and transporter during planning and delivery.
