Job summary

MindGraph in Malaysia seeks an experienced DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and release governance. You will implement IaC across hybrid environments using Terraform and Ansible, manage AWS services, VMware, Linux systems, and container platforms, and drive reliability with monitoring tools.

The role emphasizes security-conscious deployment, regulatory compliance, and close collaboration with engineering, product, and operations teams to improve deployments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools (GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Familiarity with VMware, Linux/Wintel, Docker, Kubernetes, networking, IAM, and SSO.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD & Release Management: Design, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and release governance.
• Infrastructure Automation: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation across hybrid environments.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Operations: Manage AWS cloud services, VMware, Linux/Wintel systems, data centres, containers, IAM, and SSO.
• Reliability & Monitoring: Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, system resilience, and observability using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog.
• Security & Compliance: Implement secure DevOps practices and ensure adherence to applicable regulatory and financial industry standards.
• Cloud-Native Technologies: Manage Kubernetes, serverless services, and messaging platforms while leveraging automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to improve deployments, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Documentation & Governance: Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and release standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Familiarity with VMware, Linux/Wintel, Docker, Kubernetes, networking, IAM, and SSO.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools, security practices, and compliance requirements.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, and automation across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Practical experience managing AWS services, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and release deployments.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, high availability, and disaster recovery in 24/7 operational environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
