# Senior Specialist, *DevOps*Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaPermanent#### Duties & Responsibilities* Automation and infrastructure* Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure management tasks, tools, deployment and monitoring.* Design, develop and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.* Create and manage deployment scripts and templates to ensure consistent and repeatable application deployments.* Release and deployment* Collaborating with different technology and operations teams to ensure that release and deployment requirements are understood and met.* Implement best practice for release management.* Incident response and troubleshooting* Collaborate with different functional teams to address incidents and restore services quickly. Investigate and resolve incidents, apply root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.* Participate in on-call rotation to aid incident response.* Infrastructure management, capacity planning and monitoring* Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance, security, scalability.* Assess system capacity and performance requirement, implement scalable solutions that meet future growth needs.* Implement and maintain monitoring systems to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues.* Set up and maintain alerting mechanisms and ensure timely response to alerts* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for automated deployment and recovery* Security and compliance* Collaborate with infrastructure and security team to manage and optimize infrastructure resources and ensure application of industry standard security.* Collaborate with development teams to design and implement secure infrastructure architectures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.* Ensuring compliance with security, audits and regulatory requirements* Disaster Recovery* Design and implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures for cloud/multi-cloud* Document and analyze test results to identify areas for improvement.* Event support* Support all performance tests and major events from merchant, partner and government.#### Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Network or related field* 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE* Strong knowledge of scripting language and programming language (e.g. Bash, Python, Go) and experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef)* Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab) and version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN)* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Basic or advanced cloud certification is a plus.* Strong experience in site reliability engineering, infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture or a similar role.* Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.* Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.* Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and administration.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.Apply Now
