Proton is seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to review high‑value contracts and complex arrangements, including strategic partnerships, technology licensing, funding, and investments. You will provide end‑to‑end legal support from structuring to execution.

You will develop standard contract templates, study relevant Malaysian laws and governance requirements, and offer timely advice. The role demands outstanding drafting and negotiation skills, solid knowledge of the Companies Act, and the

Competenze

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a reputable law school.
• Admission to the Malaysian Bar is required.
• Around 7 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in corporate funding, investment, or M&A matters.
• Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian Companies Act and related corporate funding/M&A regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Description

• To promptly review business operational contracts, especially high-value, complex arrangements including strategic partnerships, technology licensing, corporate funding & investment and so on.
• Provide end-to-end legal support from structural design and risk assessment to final execution.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates to streamline the legal review process across departments
• Studying laws, regulations and/or government policies applicable to company business, such as laws and regulations in respect of foreign investments and collaborations
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance matters

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and above from reputable law school
• Admission to the Malaysian Bar
• Around 7 years working experience, among which, minimum 3 years of solid experience in reputable law firm handling corporate funding, investment, M&A transactions
• Exceptional legal documents drafting and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Companies Act and other relevant laws and regulation in respect of corporate funding and M&A transactions.
• Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Results-oriented mindset, be able to provide timely and professional response to urgent requests.
