Job summary

Zohorecruit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Events Executive to oversee the coordination of key events and programmes, online and offline. You’ll manage timelines, vendors, logistics, and on-the-day execution with support from marketing, sales, and training teams.

You will contact partners, manage registrations, and lead the post-event follow-up, while maintaining thorough documentation. Excellent English and multi-project skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Hospitality (MICE) or related discipline.
• Several years of experience in account management or project coordination, preferably in events or service-driven settings.
• Strong written and spoken English. Ability to engage international clients.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with multi-project capability.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Be the main planner and coordinator for the company’s key events, programmes, and engagement initiatives (online and offline).
• Handle the full event cycle: planning, timelines, run-down, vendors, logistics, registrations, rehearsals, on-the-day coordination, and post-event follow-up.
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Trainers, and Ops to align content, promotions, and participant experience, while you lead operational planning.
• Act as a key point of contact for partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and quick issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation, checklists, and reports to continuously improve future events.
• Build trust-based relationships with participants, clients, and partners through attentive communication.
