Job summary

Jubin BMS (1990) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Safety Officer to lead safety induction and on-site audits, and to coordinate with SHC Sub-Committees on OSH activities.

Plan the Annual Fire Drill, establish HIRARC, review ISO/ ESG docs, monitor unsafe conditions, and ensure PMT/PM A compliance; willing to travel locally and work 5.5 days.

Reporting to Departmental Manager; 4+ years OSH required.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of OSH working experience.
• Familiar with OSHA 1994 and FMA 1967.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/ ISO 45001/ ISO 14001/ ISO 37001 is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel locally.
• Willing to work 5.5 days (alternate Saturday off).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety induction and on-site audits.
• Coordinate with SHC Sub-Committee on OSH activities.
• Plan and organize the Annual Fire Drill.
• Lead in establishing HIRARC.
• Review system manuals, ISO and ESG documentation.
• Monitor unsafe conditions and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate PMT/PMA compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist other branches and inter-company OSH implementations.

Job description

To lead Safety Induction and periodical on-site audit.

To coordinate with each SHC Sub-Committee on their respective OSH activity.

To plan and organize the Annual Fire Drill.

To lead in establishing HIRARC.

To conduct and assist in the Incident Investigation Report.

To review system manuals, procedures, ISO and Environmental, social and governance (ESG) related documentation.

To monitor and make a recommendation about unsafe conditions at work place.

To coordinate and support other branches and inter-company on implementing OSH requirements.

Handle compliance with regulatory requirements such as PMT / PMA for Air compressors, Permit Diesel to KPDNKK, Truck Mounted Crane and etc.

Any other task related to Safety & Health at the workplace and OHS activities.

Any other ad-hoc as requested by the immediate superior.

Job Requirement:

Reporting to Departmental Manager

Familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and others related to OSH.

At least 4 years of working experience in OSH.

Willing to travel locally if required.
