Job summary

Jubin BMS (1990) Sdn Bhd is seeking a showroom sales associate in Selangor, Malaysia. You will greet walk-in customers, understand their needs, recommend products, and guide them through the purchase journey.

The role requires 2–3 years of sales experience in retail or building materials. You will meet sales targets, upsell, maintain product knowledge, and support the sales team, while working six days a week with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in retail/building materials/home improvement or related industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers by understanding needs and guiding them through the purchasing journey.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
• Achieve sales targets through effective techniques, proactive engagement, and successful conversions.
• Identify sales opportunities and confidently promote products, upsell where appropriate, and close sales transactions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, specifications, benefits, and promotions to provide accurate information.
• Monitor best-selling products, promotional campaigns, and key product highlights to maximize sales performance and awareness.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
• Prepare and submit weekly sales and operational reports to the Supervisor.
• Provide feedback and coaching to the sales team to improve performance and service standards.
• Keep showroom and sales area well-maintained, organized, and aligned with company standards.

Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective sales techniques, proactive customer engagement, and successful sales conversion.

Identify sales opportunities and confidently promote products, upsell where appropriate, and close sales transactions.

Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of product features, specifications, benefits, and ongoing promotions to provide accurate product information and consultation.

Monitor best-selling products, promotional campaigns, and key product highlights to maximize sales performance and customer awareness.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage customer loyalty, repeat business, and positive brand experience.

Prepare and submit weekly sales and operational reports to the Supervisor.

Provide constructive feedback, support, and coaching to the sales team to enhance overall team performance and service standards.

Ensure the showroom and sales area are well-maintained, organized, visually appealing, and aligned with company standards at all times.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the retail, building materials, home improvement, tiles, sanitary ware, or related industry.

Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Sales-driven, customer-oriented, and passionate about achieving sales targets.

Good knowledge of retail sales processes and customer relationship management.

Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic sales or POS systems.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Positive attitude, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

Willing to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays.

Candidates with experience in building materials, home improvement products, tiles, sanitary ware, or related products will have an added advantage.
