Job summary

myNews is seeking a capable Equipment Coordinator in Petaling Jaya to manage equipment arrangements for new outlets, revamps, and relocations. You will coordinate delivery, installation schedules, and ensure readiness of equipment on time.

Responsibilities include stakeholder liaison across Project, Operations, Store Maintenance, Warehouse and Finance, along with cost-conscious planning and accurate documentation to support smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience in project coordination, procurement, retail operations, equipment management, or supplier coordination.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Able to work independently, follow up proactively, and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment arrangements for new outlet openings, revamps, and relocations.
• Prepare and monitor delivery and installation schedules aligned with project timelines.
• Ensure equipment is ready before scheduled delivery and installation dates.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across Project, Operations, Store Maintenance, Warehouse, and Finance.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide regular project status updates and highlight issues.
