Job summary

Pecca Group Berhad is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader in Kuala Lumpur to set KPIs, guide a team, and drive efficiency. You will lead training, execute continuous improvements, and spearhead automation initiatives to reduce manpower reliance while ensuring quality and throughput targets.

The role requires 6+ years in manufacturing with at least 4 years in leadership, preferably with automotive seating experience, and strong knowledge of Lean, NPD, and ISO/IATF standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 4 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Exposure to automotive seat or seat cover manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, cost reduction, NPD, automation, and quality standards (IATF 16949 / ISO).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; Mandarin is an added advantage for China-based clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement full or partial automation solutions to reduce manpower dependency and improve efficiency.

• Perform process audits to identify opportunities for quality, productivity, and improvements.
• Develop and standardize production control systems and manufacturing processes, including operator training and reassessment.
• Support and coordinate New Product Development (NPD) and new product introduction for smooth mass production.
