Job summary

Singtel KL seeks a Senior Engineer - Workplace Technology to support and secure our Microsoft 365 environment in Kuala Lumpur. You will help protect identity, data, endpoints, and messaging while contributing to upgrades, migrations, and security improvements.

Bring 5–8+ years in Microsoft 365/workplace tech, strong Entra ID, Purview, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and a scripting mindset with PowerShell. Join a dynamic team driving digital transformation.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in a relevant IT field; security or enterprise IT focus preferred.
5–8+ years in Microsoft 365, Workplace Technology, or security operations in a large enterprise.
Hands-on with Entra ID, Purview, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Exchange Online.
Experience with PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API is advantageous.
Solid knowledge of identity, endpoint security, and Zero Trust principles.

Responsibilities

Administer and secure Microsoft 365 and workplace tech services; provide advanced troubleshooting.
Monitor security, policy compliance, and vulnerabilities; coordinate remediation with teams.
Support incidents, problems, changes, and service requests; perform root cause analysis.
Manage Entra ID controls, including CA, MFA, RBAC, and app registrations; investigate access issues.
Administer Purview capabilities: DLP, labels, retention, eDiscovery, and records management.
Operate Intune and Defender for Endpoint; ensure device compliance and security baselines.
Troubleshoot Exchange Online mail flow, policies, and mailbox permissions.
Collaborate with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, vendors; maintain runbooks and docs.
