Job summary

Cochlear Limited in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Principal Engineer - M365 to lead design and operation of Entra ID and Microsoft 365 services in a hybrid identity environment. You will own Conditional Access policies, SSO integrations, MFA at scale, and automation via PowerShell and Graph API.

This senior role requires a Bachelor's in CS/IT/Engineering and 10+ years in Microsoft 365/Identity within mid-to-large enterprises, with 5+ years in senior engineering or architecture roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of Microsoft 365, Identity & Access Management, Endpoint Management, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• At least 5 years in a Senior Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent role.
• Design and deployment of Microsoft 365 in mid-to-large enterprise environments.
• Strong Entra ID knowledge including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO and app registrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot Entra ID platform operationally at scale.
• Design, implement and troubleshoot Conditional Access policies and MFA.
• Onboard SSO apps via SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
• Automate identity operations with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Serve as L3 escalation point for complex M365 identity incidents.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
