Job summary

Cochlear Limited is seeking a Principal Engineer - M365 Engineer in a hybrid Malaysia role. You will own Entra ID operations, design Conditional Access, and lead SSO integrations across Microsoft 365 services.

Strong scripting (PowerShell) and Graph API skills are required to automate identity workflows. The role demands 10+ years in M365/Identity spaces, with senior architectural experience and a focus on secure, scalable identity infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years in Microsoft 365, Identity & Access Management, or Infrastructure Engineering.
5+ years in senior technical or architect roles with M365 design/implementation.

Responsibilities

Own Entra ID platform operations and design CA policies at scale.
Lead SSO onboarding for internal/third-party apps (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
Enforce MFA at scale and implement phishing-resistant auth.
Automate identity ops via PowerShell and Graph API.
Support integration across Entra ID and Hybrid AD environments.
Provide L3 support for complex M365 identity incidents.
Collaborate on RCA, documentation, and platform improvements.
Administer Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive.
Monitor identity/data plane using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel or Splunk.
