Job summary

Sunway Building Materials Group in Malaysia seeks a proactive sales professional to promote Spun Pile to developers, consultants, local authorities, and contractors. You will present the product range, provide pre-sales technical consulting, and deliver after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will negotiate terms, monitor payments, and build long-term partnerships while conducting market analysis to inform planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in sales in building materials or construction.
• Proven ability in prospecting and closing deals.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu.

Responsibilities

• Promote Spun Pile to developers, consultants, local authorities and contractors.
• Develop and expand the local market by presenting the company's product range to existing and prospective customers.
• Provide pre-sales technical consultation, product education, and after-sales support to customers.
• Negotiate sales and service contract terms to meet customer and company objectives.
• Monitor and collect payments to ensure adherence to credit terms.
• Build long-term partnerships with customers through networking for sustainability and satisfaction.
• Perform market analyses to support business planning.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales and forecast reports to management.

Job description

Promote Spun Pile to prospective customers such as developers, consultants, local authorities and contractors.

Develop and expand the local market by specifying the company's range of products through presentation to existing and prospective customers.

Provide pre-sales technical consultation, products education, and after sales support services to the customers.

Negotiate sales and services contract terms and conditions to meet both the customers' and company's objectives.

Monitor and collect payments from customers after products have been delivered to ensure the collection period is in accordance to the credit terms.

Build long term partnership with customers through networking to ensure there are business sustainability and customers' satisfaction level is high.

Perform market analysis in order to support the business planning exercise.

Prepare and submit sales report and forecast report weekly and monthly to the management, and perform market analysis in order to support the business planning exercise.

Compliance, Coordination and Implementation of the ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 legal, rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Positive advantage for background of Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum a 3 years of experience in sales, cold calling, prospecting, negotiating and closing deal with customer in building materials or construction related industry.
• Strong ability in learning new skills, outgoing personality and has interest in sales and marketing job.
• Able to converse in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu proficiently. We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
