Job summary

Infineon Technologies is seeking a Senior Engineer Failure Analysis in the Quality & Excellence team to uncover root causes behind every error, drive improvements, and implement forward-thinking solutions to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Based in Malaysia, the role involves hands-on FA of discrete and IC devices, microscopy inspection, and preparing root-cause reports for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• PD/Master/Degree holder in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor or failure analysis field.

Responsibilities

• Perform up to medium level of Discrete and IC FA including electrical verification and fault isolation on package and wafer samples.
• Perform sample preparation and microscopy inspection for clear visualization of package and wafer level defects
• Prepare FA reports that can lead to root cause finding and corrective action to cross functional team.
• FA tool ownership to ensure smooth operation and carry out method development and optimization.
